Your account

If you register with email, you provide your name, email address, and a password. We store a hash of that password. We email a one-time link so you can verify the address before you sign in. If you sign in with Google, you agree that we keep the name, email address, and profile image Google returns for that sign-in.

After you create an account and sign in, we ask you to add a passkey. You can skip that step. Your password still signs you in. If you add a passkey, we store its public key, a sign-in counter, and whether it is synced or kept on one device, so that device can sign you in. We do not receive a fingerprint, face scan, or other biometric. You can add or remove a passkey in Settings at any time. Removing it stops that sign-in method. It does not delete your account or your financial data. Skipping the prompt means we do not ask again.

Deleting your account in Settings removes the account, including passwords, passkeys, and Google sign-in details we hold, together with the financial data described in the privacy notice. That deletion cannot be undone.

Financial health score

Overview shows a score calculated from the statements you uploaded for the period you are viewing. If you have set caps or goals, those comparisons are included. We do not store that score. It is not your bank’s balance, and it is not financial advice. There is no setting to turn it off while those statements remain. Removing a cap or goal, or deleting a statement, changes what the next calculation includes.

Hosted website usage

When you use spendklaro on our hosted deployment, you agree that we may collect anonymized page views and performance measurements through Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights, as described in the privacy notice. That collection does not include your statement contents or transaction details.

Unusual activity

Overview and Insights may show notes when a charge is much larger than your usual amount at that place, when a merchant name is new in your file, or when a week of spending is faster than usual. We calculate those notes from the statements you uploaded. We do not store them. They are not a fraud alert from your bank, and they are not financial advice. There is no setting to turn them off while those statements remain. Deleting a statement changes what the next calculation includes.
